Cette contribution analyse un recent (decembre 2018) evenement a la fois intellectuel et public, la « Declaration de Montreal pour le developpement responsable de l’IA » ; cette analyse, qui interprete la declaration comme une tentative d’inspiration republicaine pour se reapproprier l’agentivite humaine ou la responsabilite civique, permet de reflechir a la forme d’ethique publique la mieux adaptee aux evolutions en cours. Cette contribution de philosophie pratique mele ainsi les approches : l’ethique appliquee a l’innovation technologique et la philosophie politique sont conjuguees pour formuler une ethique publique adaptee aux developpements de l’intelligence artificielle.
