Abstract

O objetivo do presente estudo é construir um modelo teórico de Matemática para o Ensino do Conceito de Função. O modelo re-presenta, organizando, estruturalmente, textos com o propósito de ensino, produzidos e reproduzidos sobre o conceito de função. Como fonte de dados para construção do modelo, empregamos artigos publicados em periódicos da área de Educação Matemática que investigam o ensino e/ou aprendizagem do conceito de função no Ensino Básico. O modelo foi estruturado nos seguintes panoramas: tabular, máquina de transformação, diagrama, analítico, gráfico, generalização de padrões e formal, os quais são constituídos de textos que apresentam uma sintaxe específica na realização do conceito de função. Espera-se que o modelo desenvolvido forneça subsídios e reflexões sobre as formas de realizar esse conceito no ensino.
