Abstract
Ourse Bleue de Virginia Pésémapéo Bordeleau (2007) raconte les efforts subversifs et puissants de Victoria, femme métisse de la cinquantaine pour se réconcilier avec son adolescente intérieure, refoulée depuis des décennies. Cet article montre que cette poursuite est un acte radical de valorisation du corps et de l’esprit de l’adolescente autochtone, allant à l’encontre de siècles d’indifférence et de mépris envers les filles et femmes autochtones au Canada. En réclamant la place et le pouvoir de la fille qu’elle était, en s’entretenant avec son fantôme, Victoria se plonge au cœur de sa solitude pour se guérir.
