Abstract
Le systeme de sante bresilien a ete construit sur la base sur des ideaux herites de la philosophie des droits de l’Homme, au sortir de la dictature militaire. Reposant sur les principes d’egalite, d’universalite et de gratuite, il est cense garantir l’effectivite du droit a la sante par un acces a la sante, consacre par la Constitution, pour les 230 millions de Bresiliens, quels que soient leurs ressources ou leur lieu de residence. Mais ce systeme universaliste est aujourd’hui confronte a la realite de la crise economique, politique et sociale que traverse le pays, et a la recente liberalisation du marche de la sante, s’operant au detriment des plus defavorises qui risquent d’etre les premiers impactes par la diminution des ressources du service public.
