À la fois dispositif de formation continue sur le terrain, par le biais d’accompagnements des enseignants, et pôle de recherche sur le développement professionnel, le Centre d’Études et de Recherches pour Favoriser l’Apprentissage (Cerfa) est accessible à tout enseignant de la Commission scolaire de la Vallée-des-Tisserands qui en fait la demande et qui travaille avec des élèves qui ont un trouble du développement (trouble du spectre de l’autisme, dysphasie, déficiences intellectuelles). Ce dispositif soutient les enseignants dans leur cheminement professionnel en leur proposant un espace pour vivre la parole dans tout ce qu’elle est de réflexive et de dialogique. Ayant ainsi vécu une première appropriation de l’élaboration de son activité par la parole et par le partage d’expériences, les enseignants sont à même de définir un projet collectif du type « communauté d’apprentissage ».
