Abstract
Cet article s’intéresse aux nouvelles convergences entre éthique animale et éthique environnementale du point de vue des effets, puis de celui des causes du changement climatique. Son objectif principal est de montrer comment une éthique climatique non anthropocentriste peut contribuer au rapprochement entre éthique animale et éthique environnementale. Il développe une approche qui peut faire converger au niveau théorique éthique animale, éthique environnementale et éthique climatique à partir du problème commun de l’élevage. Il explique, ensuite, comment, d’un point de vue pratique, les choix alimentaires végétariens et végétaliens ainsi que le mode de vie végane peuvent représenter une solution à ce problème commun. Il répond, enfin, à certaines objections en vue de développer les arguments en faveur d’un devoir de cesser de consommer les produits issus de l’élevage.
