Abstract

In this work, novel inverter and NAND logic gates have been proposed using uni-polar n-type a-Si:H TFTs. They are capable of providing rail-to-rail output swing and minimizing leakage power. A one-bit full-adder circuit has been constructed by the novel logic gates. Simulation and measurement results have demonstrated that the circuits could deliver full-swing output signals and reduce more than 70% of static leakage current when compared with the conventional circuit.
