Abstract
Depuis quelques annees, la theorie litteraire se reinvente au contact d’un corpus longtemps ignore par la critique et les institutions litteraires, parce qu’il s’erige hors du livre et revet des formes hybrides : intermediales, transmediales, numeriques, etc. Ce corpus temoigne de la presence d’un paradigme contemporain - par ailleurs deja bien institue et bien balise dans le domaine de l’art - dans des pratiques litteraires qui echappent encore aux institutions editoriales traditionnelles de la litterature. Longtemps delaisse par une critique quelque peu deboussolee voire revoltee par ces formes peu conventionnelles, ce corpus fait aujourd’hui l’objet d’une attention croissante et suscite un effort theorique particulierement stimulant dans le champ des etudes litteraires, autour d’une double question : qu’est-ce que le « paradigme contemporain » et, surtout, qu’est-ce que la litterature contemporaine ? Dans son dernier ouvrage, Moderne/contemporain, Pascal Mougin vient poser les bases d’un champ d’etude encore en construction.
