Abstract
La Marche mondiale des femmes a permis de vivre des expériences et de faire des apprentissages hors de l’ordinaire. En revisitant l’histoire de cette grande mobilisation, à travers la perspective locale de femmes du Québec, l’auteure a pour objectif de documenter les expériences et les contributions de groupes locaux à cette mobilisation transnationale, mais aussi de rendre compte des acquis liés à la mise en oeuvre des actions. Tout porte à croire que ces acquis ont perduré dans le temps, et l’on peut supposer que cette expérience porteuse est peut-être l’une des assises des mobilisations féministes renouvelées (locales ou transnationales).
