Abstract
Depuis 1989, Tassadit Imache a publié six romans. Le premier, Une Fille sans histoire, brosse le portrait d’une enfant née d’un père algérien et d’une mère française pendant la guerre d’Algérie. Depuis, elle interroge les trajectoires franco-algériennes, le devenir de ces bâtards nés de couples mixtes, ballottés par l’histoire ; rejetons du populo frappés par les exclusions et les injustices, guettés – quand ils n’y succombent pas – par la dépression. Avec son écriture verticale, scrupuleuse, sans concessions, elle fait entrer dans le roman national « un peu des vies invisibles et des noms venus d’ailleurs ». Dans Fini d’écrire ! (Hors d’atteinte, 2020), elle revient sur les ambiguïtés de la réception de ses livres et sur la place de sa mère dans son écriture.
