Abstract
Le présent article porte sur les apports éventuels des études postcoloniales aux sciences sociales. L’objectif visé est de proposer des pistes de réflexion sur les formes pouvant être adoptées par ce croisement théorique et épistémologique. À cet effet, deux objets d’étude en contexte non-occidental ont été mobilisés : la construction des catégories identitaires (le cas de la catégorie berbère) et la production intellectuelle (le cas de Syed Hussein Alatas). Au fil de nos analyses, nous puiserons dans les études postcoloniales pour suggérer leurs potentielles applications aux recherches en sciences sociales. Le but étant de dégager quelques prémices épistémologiques pour l’étude des sociétés du Sud.
