L’autogestion en art permet-elle de déploiement d’une véritable d’action politique (voire de résistance) au Québec ? Est-elle incompatible avec la création, est-elle menacée à l’ère de la dématérialisation des œuvres au profit d’un flux communicationnel opéré par le virage numérique ? Si oui, est-ce à dire que l’apparition du numérique rend caduque toute forme de lien politique locale au profit d’une logique de recoupements transnationaux ponctuels, comme semblent le sous-entendre certaines interprétations ? C’est ce que nous entendons explorer ici, en portant attention aux transformations récentes observées dans la médiation culturelle et la création. Il devrait ressortir que le processus de gestion, loin d’être un frein à la création, peut en constituer le prolongement, puisqu’il mobilise les mêmes aptitudes chez les artistes que la création.
