Dalam dunia misiologi terdapat berbagai macam metode dan pendekatan untuk memberitakan Kabar Baik (Injil); dari masa-ke masa para ahli mencoba membuat metode dan strategi untuk menjawab kebutuhan pemberitaan kabar baik sesuai dengan masanya. Percakapan Yesus dengan perempuan Samaria secara alamiah di tepi sumur Yakub di Kota Sikhar, tetap menjadi inspirasi yang tidak lekang oleh zaman, sebab prinsip-prinsip yang dipakai Yesus tetap bisa diterapkan sebagai metode dan strategi penyampaian kabar baik pada masa kini.
