Abstract
Este artigo constitui-se como parte da pesquisa “O Movimento de Reconceituacao do Servico Social na America Latina (Brasil, Chile, Argentina e Colombia): determinantes historicos, interlocucoes internacionais e memoria”. Intencionamos compreender a relacao entre o movimento de reconceituacao latino-americano e os movimentos contestatorios na Europa ibera e America do Norte expressos no Servico Social Critico e Servico Social Radical, no periodo de 1960-1980, considerando suas particularidades, antecedentes, expressoes e desdobramentos. Nossa enfase no âmbito desta pesquisa circunscreve-se a Portugal e Espanha, e aos EUA e Canada, onde identificaremos as producoes dos assistentes sociais (documentos, relatorios, sistematizacoes da “pratica”, artigos e livros publicados em revistas na area de Ciencias Humanas, Sociais e Servico Social, no periodo de 1960-1980), conhecendo as referencias teorico- metodologicas do Servico Social neste periodo, simultaneamente, em sua particularidade e em seus nexos com os “movimentos contestatorios” e com o “movimento latino-americano”. Nesse sentido, interessa-nos a relacao entre tais referencias e as dimensoes etico-politicas (posicionamento profissional) e tecnico-operativas (interventivas). Neste artigo, apresentaremos o conjunto referencial da pesquisa e nossa angulacao dentro dela.
