Abstract
The article aims a synthetic presentation of the preliminary results of the preventive archaeological excavations made on Tărtăria II site, Alba county, by a team of the NHMR. A detailed analysis is focused on the discoveries dated to the Roman period, considered in the context of the research stage of a certain part of the middle Mureş valley.
