Abstract
Topkapı Sarayı Müzesi Arşivi E. 3146 numarada kayıtlı bulunan Farsça bir belge/reçete, bir hekimin hastasının hastalığını tanımlama ve tavsiyelerini içermektedir. Fakat bu reçetenin kim tarafından kime hitaben kaleme alındığı açıkça belirtilmemesine rağmen "İranlı bir hekimin Kanuni Sultan Süleyman'a yazdığı Farsça reçete" adı altında kaydedilmiştir. Her ne kadar yazarı ve reçetenin muhatabının açık kimliği belli olmasa da bu metin etrafında yürüteceğimiz tartışmalarla, yazının muhatabı olan tarafın hastalığı tanımlaması ve bu konuda yardımlarına başvurması üzerine mahir bir tabip tarafından yazılan bu reçetenin Osmanlı sultanları içinde nikris hastalığından en fazla mustarip olan Kanuni Sultan Süleyman'a, hastalığı ile ilgili tüm tedavilerin yetersiz kaldığı ve sultanın çok şiddetli ağrılar çektiği bir zamanda İran gibi uzak bir coğrafyada yaşayan mahir bir tabip tarafından yazılmış olabileceği ileri sürülecektir.Belgenin Farsça olması onu yazan hekimin İranlı olmasına delalet etmemekle beraber hekimin tedavi için getirtilmemiş olması onun imparatorluğun dışındaki uzak bir coğrafyadan; İran coğrafyasından olabilme ihtimali ortaya konulmaya çalışılacaktır.
