Abstract
Cet article vise à explorer l’histoire du corps super-héroïque dans les comics des années 30 à nos jours, de manière à voir comment celui-ci — tantôt triomphant, tantôt en proie au délitement — est devenu le reflet d’idéologies américaines de plus en plus contrariées. À cette fin, c’est l’idée même de survalorisation du corps augmenté qui est problématisée dans les récits, parallèlement à la mise en crise éthique de la figure du superhéros.
