Abstract
20世纪70年代后期,在加拿大魁北克省Charlevoix-Saguenay地区发现了一种以痉挛性共济失调为特征的疾病,被命名为Charlevoix-Saguenay常染色体隐性遗传痉挛性共济失调(ABSACS,MIM 270550).2000年,ARSACS的致病基因--SACS首次被克隆.最初认为SACS基因只有1个巨大外显子编码sacsin蛋白.此后6年间,在这个巨大外显子中发现了20余种基因变异被证实与ARSACS有关。
