Abstract
What would it take to make an edition of Luthers works popular today? Exploring this question, Martin Keßlers study highlights two unknown editorial projects, the Little Weimar Edition of Luthers Works and Luthers Authentic Works, and also traces the beginnings of Kurt Alands Luther deutsch, one of the most widespread editions of post-war Germany, back to the year 1942.
