Deep brain stimulation of globuspallidusinternus for dystonia
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Objective To study the effects of high-frequency deep brain stimulation (DBS) of globuspallidusintemus (GPi) in the treatment for severe dystonia. Methods Six patients with primary dystonia and two with secondary dystonia were included in this study. The DBS electrodes were implanted within the bilateral-GPi in all patients. The follow-up time was ranged from 12 to 36 months.Preoperative and postoperative evaluations were performed using the Burk-Fahn-Marsden scale and the Toronto Western Spasmodic Torticollis Rating Scale. Results With the exception of one case, all patients showed inhomogeneous improvement (35.5% ~ 87.5%).The best improvement was achieved in patients with primary dystonia. The DBS equipment was pulled out at last due to incision infection. Conclusions GPi-DBS is a new and promising treatment option for dystonia. Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
