Abstract
Chez Emile Zola comme chez beaucoup d'ecrivains ayant ponctue leur production romanesque d'ecrits theoriques sur l'ecriture, il est necessaire de faire la part des choses entre des intentions souvent rigides et les fictions qui en resultent. Cette remarque vaut autant pour les theses scientifiques du Roman experimental que pour les declarations prealables a la redaction des Rougon-Macquart.
