Abstract
Resumen. En este artculo se examina la relacin entre el comportamiento semntico y sintctico del verbo polismico gustar. Para ello, rastreamos desde una perspectiva diatpica las diferentes interpretaciones que puede tener al aparecer con un complemento nominativo y preposicional [NOM + gusta + de + Sintagma Nominal]. Los datos utilizados para este trabajo cualitativo proceden de las redes sociales, especialmente de Twitter. Queda demostrado que este esquema sintctico es mucho ms comn en el mundo hispanohablante de lo que se pensaba y que, pese a las diferencias diatpicas, puede presentar todos los significados conocidos, mostrando una mayor flexibilidad semntica de lo previamente presentado.
