Abstract
En se basant sur des données de l’enquête sur les usages des Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication (TIC) par les ménages et citoyens camerounais en 2015, nous estimons les effets des pairs et les multiplicateurs sociaux qui se manifestent dans la recherche d’information en santé sur Internet. A partir d’une approche spatiale des moindres carrés généralisés en deux étapes (GS2SLS), nous trouvons un multiplicateur social de 12,66. Celui-ci montre que les politiques publiques pourraient réussir à réduire la fracture d’usage d’Internet-santé en mettant en place une initiative qui ne ciblerait qu’un nombre restreint d’individus.
