Face au caractère polysémique du terme téléprésence, cet article propose diverses définitions du concept et identifie des utilisations de dispositifs numériques en contexte de formation afin d’être « présent à distance ». Issus d’une démarche de recension systématique des écrits, les dispositifs de téléprésence recensés sont : les salles de visioconférence immersives, les robots de téléprésence, la réalité virtuelle et les hologrammes. Cette vue d’ensemble sur la téléprésence permet de mieux établir les paramètres d’un concept qui permet d’aborder la formation à l’ère du numérique se donnant bien souvent en ligne.
