Abstract
Program Pendewasaan usia perkawinan (PUP) merupakan upaya meningkatkan usia perkawinan bagi remaja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kampanye sosial program pendewasaan usia perkawinan (PUP) yang ada di Kecamatan Tamalate, Kota Makassar serta faktor-faktor apa yang menghambat kampanye sosial program PUP tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dan studi kepustakaan. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kampanye sosial program PUP yang dilakukan oleh Penyuluh Keluarga Berencana (PKB) di Kecamatan Tamalate Kota Makassar yaitu dengan melakukan kampanye kepada remaja disekolah-sekolah tentang pentingnya pendewasaan usia perkawinan, membentuk PIK-Remaja di sekolah-sekolah, membentuk kelompok Bina Keluarga Remaja (BKR) bagi keluarga yang memiliki anak remaja, serta kampanye program PUP dilakukan memalui media cetak dan media elektronik. Temuan lain menunjukkan bahwa faktor penghambat kampanye sosial program PUP yaitu para PKB kesulitan dalam memberikan sosialisasi secara langsung kepada para siswa di dalam kelas karena berbenturan dengan jam pejalaran, tidak aktifnya siswa dalam PIK-Remaja yang telah terbentuk di sekolah-sekolah mereka, para orang tua yang tergabung dalam kelompok BKR tidak begitu aktif mengikuti pertemuan serta keterbatasan dana yang dimiliki oleh para PKB dalam membuat media-media kampanye seperti selebaran/brosur, poster, benner, leaflet, dll.
