Abstract

En 2006, l'école secondaire Curé-Mercure de Mont-Tremblant a observé un niveau de lecture et d'écriture préoccupant chez les élèves considérés comme à risques. Le coenseignement s'est imposé comme la solution pour prendre en compte les besoins d'apprentissage particuliers de ces élèves et des enseignants-ressources ont été nommés.
 L’expérience a montré les bienfaits du coenseignement, tant pour les enseignants que pour les élèves. Elle a aussi révélé le niveau de compétences élevé que l'enseignant-ressource doit posséder. Enfin, elle a montré que le processus de leur nomination doit favoriser l'engagement des enseignants et être axé sur les besoins de l'élève.
