Abstract
Dans un constant aller-retour entre l’écriture de et sur la musique, André Boucourechliev, comme nombre de compositeurs de sa génération, n’a cessé de pénétrer le geste créateur. Cette exploration a pris la forme d’un nombre considérable d’articles et d’ouvrages auxquels il convient d’ajouter des centaines d’heures d’émissions produites dans les années 1970-1990 pour les ondes de France Culture et France Musique. Avec un art consommé de l’intrigue, Boucourechliev y invite l’auditeur à visiter le langage musical de Stravinsky, de Beethoven ou de Debussy. Il arrive souvent aussi – cette fois en configuration dialogique – qu’il écoute et regarde ses propres oeuvres. Le soin apporté à la langue, à sa scansion et à son pouls laisse entrevoir l’existence d’une véritable « écriture radiophonique », matériau fugace en apparence mais dont l’analyse textuelle permet d’en retrouver les traces, éparses, dans des textes publiés de Boucourechliev. Cet article porte attention à ce régime d’écriture singulier, trop négligé encore par les musicologues.
