Lithospheric thickness inferred from Australian post-glacial sea-level change: the influence of a ductile crustal zone
Bibliographic record
Abstract
[1] We investigate the influence of a crustal low viscosity zone (CLVZ) on numerical predictions of post-glacial, late Holocene sea-level variations in the Australian region. Specifically, we compare predictions from a model with a 15 km thick CLVZ within an otherwise elastic plate to results from a suite of models in which the thickness of a purely elastic crust-lithosphere is varied. We conclude that previous inferences of lithospheric thickness based on differential highstands from the region represent (approximately) the thickness of the elastic layer above the CLVZ; and thus, if a CLVZ exists, these inferences may be significantly underestimating the total depth extent of the crust-lithosphere system.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
