Abstract
À écouter les prières et hymnes d’Afrique subsaharienne, on devine une nature belle, immensément riche, très variée en eaux, végétaux, animaux, races humaines, sols et minéraux ; on sent aussi que les habitants de ces régions adorent les couleurs et les images de la nature à laquelle ils sont profondément attachés ! Nul besoin pour eux d’aller chercher ailleurs les gestes, les mots, les images, pour glorifier Dieu et proclamer le salut en Jésus-Christ. Néanmoins, l’écoute des autres et l’ouverture de nos horizons nous font grandir dans la foi, en nous faisant découvrir que la terre entière est remplie de la gloire de Dieu. Les Psaumes de la savane ainsi que les hymnes des Rituels ad experimentum du Kàsaayì contribuent sûrement à cette ouverture, et constituent un plaidoyer vivant pour la décentralisation prônée par le pape François.
