Abstract
À l’aune de la notion de « snap », théorisée par Sara Ahmed dans Living a Feminist Life (2017), cet article s’intéresse à la manière dont est exploitée l’intertextualité dans des œuvres littéraires féministes québécoises de la fin des années 70. Le « snap » permet de caractériser la volonté de rupture qui se lit de manière récurrente dans les écritures au féminin, qui se décline régulièrement sous la forme d’un rejet viscéral de structures patriarcales. Les écrivaines issues des écritures au féminin mettent en scène dans leur travail un ou plusieurs moments de « snap », qui rend compte, dans le sillage des propos d’Ahmed, d’une volonté de mettre à jour une mémoire alternative à celle qui, patriarcale, appartient à l’ordre culturel dont elles souhaitent se séparer. L’article s’intéresse aux différentes stratégies intertextuelles qui montrent ces gestes de brisure dans les livres Cyprine (1978) de Denise Boucher et Dieu (1979) de Carole Massé.
