Abstract
Dans son Manuel de poétique à l’intention des jeunes filles (2010), la poète québécoise Carole David utilise l’intertextualité en élaborant des réseaux onomastiques et référentiels hétéroclites, tout en recourant à des tonalités élégiaques bigarrées. Convoquant de multiples voix et expériences, entravées ou désirantes, majoritaires celles des femmes, l’hybridité discursive davidienne se mue en poétique du dialogue à travers une mise en présence de représentations mouvantes et de figures admirées. À travers une poésie nourrie de contradictions et de relectures se profile une mélancolie critique toute contemporaine, aux accents nord-américains et québécois, qui convoque donc ces figures et voix du passé pour recréer aujourd’hui des filiations solidaires mais inquiètes et lucides.
