Abstract
Au cours des deux premières décennies du XXIe siècle, les réformes de l’éducation ont eu pour principal objectif d’améliorer les résultats obtenus dans des domaines fondamentaux tels que la littératie et les mathématiques, et de renforcer l’équité en réduisant les écarts de résultats. Nous entrons maintenant dans une nouvelle ère où les défis sociaux et éducatifs sont différents et encore plus cruciaux, et où les moyens de les résoudre évoluent. S’appuyant sur des données provenant notamment de l’Ontario, cette contribution examine deux domaines interdépendants en matière de changement de politique : la réforme de l’évaluation et une stratégie d’amélioration reposant sur les concepts de « Collaborative Professionalism » et de « Leading from the Middle ». Ce dernier, en particulier, offre des pistes prometteuses pour créer un système de gouvernance facilitant la mise en œuvre des réformes éducatives.
