Abstract
Dans la seconde moitié du XVIIe siècle, un grand nombre de textes produits par – ou attribués à – des spectateurs de théâtre sont publiés sur des supports variés, fictionnels et non fictionnels. L’analyse à grande échelle de ces sources au sein du projet de recherche « Naissance de la critique dramatique » a mis au jour, à partir des années 1660, la cohérence d’un point de vue de spectateur. Celui-ci se caractérise par l’usage de nouveaux critères d’évaluation et par la direction du regard, tourné, depuis la scène, vers la salle et hors de la salle.
