Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, Transsexual, Intersex, Questioning and Queer Youth experience marginalization in the education system. The following paper will look at the types of bullying and discrimination that LGBTTIQQ youth face, followed by an extensive literature review LGBTTIQQ marginalization. Programs and policies will be examined that support LGBTTIQQ youth within British Columbia and Canada with an analysis of implementation challenges of such programs. Finally, the paper will make recommendations and suggestions at the provincial, district, and school level to help LGBTTIQQ youth.
