Abstract
Durant ces dernières années, avec l’arrivée de nombreux réfugiés au Québec, les écoles se sont mobilisées pour faciliter l’accueil de ces élèves. Cet article présente les résultats d’une recherche-action menée auprès de jeunes élèves réfugiés syriens et tend à démontrer la pertinence de la mise en place d’une activité encadrée d’expression libre (groupes de parole en classe), visant le développement du bien-être psychologique des élèves. L’analyse thématique des données découlant de cette activité menée dans cinq classes d’accueil nous permet de souligner que cette activité a permis l’élaboration des deuils et des traumas, et a contribué au développement du bien-être psychologique des élèves.
