Abstract
Cet article veut montrer comment les multiples noms attribués aux acteurs de la fête k’in tajimol : Seigneurs Noirs, Seigneurs du vent, Nos pères singes, Pères métis de la nuit, Diable, Judas, Frère aîné métis, révèlent leur nature nocturne. Ces personnages, qui se dressent depuis le monde des morts comme ancêtres des Tsotsil, s’opposent à Notre père Soleil et à son épouse, et aux Serviteurs du Christ. Les actions des ik’aletik dans le municipe constitutionnel de Chenalhó présentent d’importantes variations avec celles du municipe autonome zapatiste de Polhó. Les noms utilisés pour les identifier dans chaque lieu et les actions qu’ils effectuent déterminent leurs multiples ontologies liées à la nuit, au sacrifice et aux ancêtres patrilinéaires.
