Abstract
La caserne Dossin à Malines (province d’Anvers) joue un rôle fondamental dans la déportation des Juifs de Belgique et du Nord de la France. Entre le 4 août 1942 et le 31 juillet 1944, 25.483 Juifs, âgés de 39 jours à 93 ans, sont déportés par vingt-sept convois vers Auschwitz-Birkenau. Si 575 Juifs parviennent à sauter des trains, 24.908 – hommes, femmes et enfants – sont acheminés vers leur destination, mortelle pour plus de 95 % d’entre eux.
