Une récente étude menée au Québec par les chercheurs de l'équipe de Recherche en éducation Scientifique et Technologique (EREST) suggêre que les élêves formés dans le systême éducatif québécois du Renouveau pédagogique (Réforme) sont plus compétents à résoudre un problême d'ordre scientifique et technologique que ceux qui ne l'ont pas été. Ces résultats font partie des rares indices contribuant à l'analyse des effets de la Réforme sur les performances des élêves québécois dans le domaine de la science et de la technologie. Ces résultats ont été obtenus à partir de mesures prises lorsque des élêves utilisent une simulation informatisée.
