Abstract
L’importance intrinsèque de la liberté de presse dans les démocraties déjà établies n’est pas mise en doute. Il s’agit plutôt d’une remise en question de l’argument selon lequel la liberté de presse devrait être priorisée avant la libéralisation de l’économie ou la consolidation de l’état de droit. Les développements économiques et législatifs devraient se retrouver au coeur des stratégies puisqu’ils sont les prérequis à l’instauration des médias afin d’assurer cette liberté d’expression.
