Abstract
This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows: To determine whether treatment of OUD in primary care as compared to the traditional specialty care setting results in equivalent or improved outcomes for retention in treatment, reduction in opioid use, and other patient‐oriented outcomes.
