Abstract
The intention of this artist statement is to demonstrate proficiency in scenic, lighting, projection and costume design for the theatre. These design elements were created for a production of This is War written by Hannah Moscovitch and directed by John Knight, presented in the University Theatre at the University of Calgary from October 18 – 25, 2019. The following document is an outline of my process from preliminary design concepts to the fully realized production through research, design and creation/production of the play.
