Abstract
L’objectif de cet article est de contribuer à expliquer les ressorts de la croyance en la Technologie. Les auteurs postulent que ce phénomène procède de la force d’un mythe construit autour des technologies de l’information et de la communication. Ils analysent un corpus constitué d’entretiens qualitatifs menés auprès d’un échantillon d’utilisateurs burkinabés d’internet et de personnes qui ont participé à la mobilisation citoyenne de 2014 au Burkina Faso. L’objectif est de recueillir les motifs de leur investissement sur les réseaux sociaux numériques et de relever les représentations qui en commandent leurs usages.
