Abstract
Les troubles comportementaux et les troubles d’apprentissage forment généralement un couple indissociable. Or, les élèves ayant des troubles du comportement sont ceux dont les probabilités de quitter l’école secondaire sans diplôme sont les plus élevées. Par conséquent, il devient essentiel d’implanter des systèmes d’intervention favorisant la prévention des difficultés de comportement. Lapointe et Freiberg (2006) ont identifié le Positive Behavioural Interventions and Supports (PBIS) comme étant un système efficace pour la prévention de ces difficultés. Nous avons traduit ce système en français, sous le nom le Soutien au comportement positif (SCP), et nous l’avons implanté dans une centaine d’écoles québécoises au cours des dix dernières années. Nous présentons les effets du SCP sur la réduction des comportements d’indiscipline dans deux écoles de la région montréalaise.
