Abstract
Les technologies dites « nouvelles » créent des imaginaires, suscitent des attitudes et des discours fortement teintés de déterminisme. Alors que les médias mainstream et traditionnels s’aligneraient plutôt sur la vision positive des nouvelles technologies de l’information et de la communication et du numérique, certains médias qualifiés d’alternatifs, vont à contre-courant en dénonçant les méfaits des nouvelles technologies et du « faux progrès ». C’est le cas du journal hyper local grenoblois Le Postillon, ce petit magazine satirique à sensibilité altermondialiste créé en 2009 pour couvrir l’actualité de la ville de Grenoble. Son étude amène une réflexion sur la relation entre les mythes sociaux modernes et les médias.
