Les auteurs interrogent la nature des sites internet qui se posent comme des médias alternatifs en s’intéressant particulièrement à la frontière qu’ils dessinent entre activités journalistiques et militantes. L’objet de cette étude est le site Gazette Debout, né durant le mouvement Nuit Debout en 2016. Leur questionnement principal concerne la fabrique éditoriale de ce support, l’identité et les parcours de ses contributeurs et sa façon de traiter l’information. Ils proposent une première approche du phènoméne pour esquisser quelques contours de ces nouvelles frontières du journalisme.
