Abstract
Cet article s’intéresse à la rhétorique gouvernementale française sur l’industrie du futur en France. Ce type de discours, qui a été fortement relancé autour de la « quatrième révolution industrielle », reprend des codes qui apparaissent dès la fin des années 1970 dans le cadre de la « crise du modèle tayloro-fordiste ». Ces discours annoncent une nouvelle étape du progrès permettant une industrie au visage humain. L’auteur examine la mobilisation de la figure ancienne du robot dans cette rhétorique qui oppose un passé industriel fondé sur l’opposition homme-machine à un futur de « collaboration ».
