Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peranan guru dalam membentukkarakter nasionalisme pada siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Genengsari 01 KecamatanPolokarto Kabupaten Sukoharjo Tahun Pelajaran 2020.Penelitian ini merupakanpenelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guruSD Negeri Genengsari 01.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dandokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peranan guru dalammembentuk karakter nasionalisme pada siswa SD Negeri Genengsari 01 masihkurang sempurna, hal ini terlihat guru hanya menerapkan 4 peranan saja dari 12peranan guru di sekolah,sehingga kurangnya tindakan nyata dari guru kepada siswadalam membentuk perilaku dan sikap nasionalisme. Wujud nyata tersebut tampaksiswa kurang memahami bentuk sikap nasionalisme.
