Bibliographic record
Abstract
The article relates his critical historiographic proposal to the social crises experienced by the author. We argue that the author's emigration to South Africa after the rise of Nazi-fascism and the beginning of World War II, the experience of the struggle against apartheid and its exile in Canada in the middle of the the 1960s, among other events of no less importance, had a decisive impact on his thinking, contributing, along with academic experiences in England, Australia, Indonesia and Germany, to the development of his polycentric, counter-hegemonic, democratic and global historiographical proposal. francaisKurt Danziger est un psychologue et historien de la psychologie.
