Como resultado de la dinamica del comercio internacional del que Mexico forma parte, y siendo vecino de los Estados Unidos de America y Canada con los que tenemos firmado un Tratado de Libre Comercio, se ha generado a traves del tiempo un importante flujo de vehiculos al pais, muchos de los cuales permanecen de manera definitiva en el, sin cumplir con la documentacion que les permita su legal estancia y tenencia en el pais, estos ascienden aproximadamente a 5 millones de unidades y otro tanto ya fueron regularizados en el pais. Esto ha ocasionado un descalabro a la actividad economica del sector productivo automotriz, problemas de tipo ecologico, de seguridad publica entre otros. Por tal motivo, el presente articulo tiene como finalidad resaltar la importancia que reviste el conocer el marco juridico de la legal importacion de vehiculos de procedencia extranjera en el pais, con la finalidad de evitar con ello el emplacamiento y circulacion de vehiculos Raul Olivares Guillen ilegales en territorio nacional
