Our editorial advisory board members Kai Zhu, Dongling Ma, and Shannon W. Boettcher provide highlights of three articles published in the August issue. They highlight new advances in solar cells and solar fuels that include phenethylammonium iodide treatment on suppressing ion migration in perovskite solar cells, nitride heterostructures for water splitting, and three-dimensional electrode (Si microarray) for CO2 reduction.
